Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the BLW Recipes mobile application (the "App"), provided by Orango Labs Ltd ("we", "us", "our"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

Important: BLW Recipes is an educational tool, not medical advice. Always supervise your baby during meals and consult your pediatrician about introducing solids and allergens.

1. Not medical advice

The content in the App — including food information, age guidance, allergen and choking notes, recipes, and meal plans — is provided for general educational and informational purposes only. It is not medical, nutritional, or professional advice and is not a substitute for the guidance of a qualified healthcare provider. Babies develop at different rates. Always supervise your child during feeding, follow your pediatrician's recommendations, and seek immediate medical help in an emergency. You are solely responsible for decisions about what and how you feed your child.

2. Eligibility

The App is intended for use by adults (parents and caregivers). By using the App you confirm you are at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction.

3. Licence

We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App for your own personal, non-commercial use, subject to these Terms and the App Store Terms of Service. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, reverse-engineer, or create derivative works from the App or its content, except as permitted by law.

4. Purchases, subscriptions, and free trial

Free and Pro. The App is free to download and offers optional "Pro" features through in-app purchase, available as an auto-renewing subscription (monthly or yearly) or a one-time lifetime purchase.
Free trial. Pro may include a free trial. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, it will convert to a paid subscription and your Apple ID will be charged.
Billing and renewal. Payment is charged to your Apple ID. Auto-renewing subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
Managing and cancelling. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your device's Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions. Deleting the App does not cancel a subscription.
Refunds. Purchases are processed by Apple and are subject to Apple's refund policies. We are unable to process refunds directly.
Price changes. Prices may change; where required, we or Apple will notify you and, for subscriptions, seek your consent before a price increase takes effect.

5. Intellectual property

The App and its content, design, and trademarks are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights in our trademarks or content except the limited licence described above.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the App, including by attempting to disrupt or gain unauthorised access to our systems, using the App in violation of any law, or interfering with other users' use of the App.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that the content is accurate, complete, or suitable for your child's individual needs.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Orango Labs Ltd and its officers, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss arising out of or related to your use of (or inability to use) the App. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

9. Changes to the App and Terms

We may update, change, or discontinue the App or any feature at any time. We may also update these Terms from time to time; the "Last updated" date above reflects the latest version. Your continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, and the courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction, except where mandatory local consumer-protection law provides otherwise.
