Privacy Policy

The short version: BLW Recipes works without an account, and your baby's information stays on your device. We don't sell your data because we never collect it.
This Privacy Policy explains how Orango Labs Ltd ("we", "us", "our") handles information in the BLW Recipes mobile application (the "App"). By using the App, you agree to this policy.
1. Information stored on your device
BLW Recipes is designed to work locally. The following is created and stored only on your device and is not transmitted to us:
- Your baby's profile (such as name or nickname and age, if you choose to add them)
- Foods you mark as tried and any reactions or allergy notes you record
- Favourites, filters, and meal plans you generate
- App settings and preferences
Because this data lives on your device, we cannot access it, and it is removed if you delete the App.
2. Information we receive automatically
To show foods, recipes, and images, the App requests content from our servers. Like almost all internet services, our servers automatically process limited technical information to deliver that content and keep the service secure, such as your device's IP address, device and operating-system type, and the time of the request. This information is used only to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the service and is not used to build a profile of you or to identify you personally.
3. Purchases and subscriptions
Pro subscriptions and one-time purchases are processed by Apple through your Apple ID. We do not receive or store your payment card details. Apple provides us with confirmation of purchase status so the App can unlock Pro features. Apple's handling of your information is governed by Apple's own privacy policy.
4. What we do not do
- We do not require an account or ask you to sign in.
- We do not use third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs.
- We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information.
- We do not track you across other apps or websites.
5. Children's privacy
BLW Recipes is intended for use by parents and caregivers, who are adults. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Any information you record about your baby is stored locally on your device, as described above.
6. Data retention and deletion
Content you create in the App is retained on your device until you delete it or uninstall the App. Uninstalling the App permanently removes the locally stored data from your device. Routine server logs described in Section 2 are kept only as long as needed for operation and security, then discarded.
7. Security
We take reasonable technical measures to protect the content delivered through the App and our servers. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your choices and rights
Because we do not collect personal information tied to your identity, most data is under your direct control on your device. Depending on where you live, you may have rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA. 9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Significant changes will be reflected in the App or on this page.
